Monomad: Hawk-moth Larva

in #hive-1421598 days ago

This is my most obedient model during the photo shoot. Not as naughty as the others, this one was the most patient in completing the photo shoot until it was finished. She did it very well. With just a payment of a delicious leaf, she was willing to sign the contract.

The caterpillar or hawk-moth larva; has gorgeous back patterns. Its head resembles an elephant's trunk, while the tail mimics a Sumatran rhinoceros's head. What will it look like after metamorphosing into a hawk-moth? It must be more beautiful than this one!

This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.

All these photos are my original work, taken with a Xiaomi POCO NFC smartphone and an assembled external macro lens.
