Monomad: Kitamurai Crab Spider

in #hive-14215916 days ago

This is still about spiders, and now I will share macro photos of the kitamurai crab spider, or flower crab spider. I noticed it camouflaging itself on a flower—I have no idea what the flower is called. The spider is snow white; it doesn't choose a random place to camouflage itself. On a white flower that matches its physique, it sneaks so quietly. Its eyes are too small and almost invisible, but make no mistake: those eyes still possess sharp vision and can detect prey from afar.
