I used to be afraid of spiders, but not anymore. I have seen many species of spiders, from the smallest to the largest. Recently I found another one. It was a fairly large huntsman spider (Olios).
I noticed it was crawling on a dry twig. Those long, muscular legs kept crawling non-stop.
It only stopped when it reached the top, curled up there as if about to charge.
But nothing happened. The huntsman was still there. It was calm, dignified, and scary. Especially about those huge jaws, and don't forget those fists (pedipalps). The huntsman was ready to give anyone an overhead punch.
The King was still silent while waiting for dusk to come. Maybe the hunt would only be done at night.
