Monomad: The Shy One

in #hive-1421597 months ago

Everyone knows about wasps. They are known to be aggressive and vicious. Even more so when they are in a colony. I remember a terrible incident. At that time, I was still in my teens, and I was a naughty boy.

One time, I was chased by a gang of wasps. They were angry and eager to gang up on me. Their anger was justified because I had disturbed them. I was throwing a rock at their nest. Immediately, they scattered out and chased me like a thief. Their chase only ended when I threw myself into the river.

A wasp does not behave aggressively when alone or away from its colony. This little guy is an example. Instead of being aggressive, this little guy behaved shyly and hid behind the twig of the Mimosa plant. A wasp that is supposed to be vicious instead looks like a housefly :D

This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.

All these photos are my original work, taken with a Xiaomi POCO NFC smartphone and an assembled external macro lens.

I love the amount of detail in your photos, seeing the wasps so close is very interesting. Beautiful photos!

Thanks @naitreart :)

ah throwing rocks at wasps nests is one of those lessons that must be learned when young

I'm guessing you also had a ridiculous but impressive experience like that. Did I guess wrong? 😀

your guess was right. 😂
