Hello Hivers

My name is John Victor Alaku. I am 24yrs old. I am a Nigerian. I live in the North-central part of the country, Nasarawa State. Eggon by tribe and a Christian.

In this post I am going to tell you a little bit about my background, interest, achievements and my goals on Hive Community! Wow!!

I live in Akwanga Nasarawa State, Lafia road. An area called Agwan Affi. I came from a family of one Dad and two wives. Smiles, I am the second Child of my Mum and the third child of my Dad. We are eight in the family including our parents. Five children and three parents we love ourselves.

From my mum's side we are four while my step mum had one child Lazarus, who is the eldest son and first child of the family. We have a great Sister Ashe, who lives with us. She was raised by our stepmom. She is a great Sister. My siblings are Emma, Faith and Christopher. My Dad is an Auditor while my Mum is a Teacher.

Here are my lovely Ashe, Emma and Faith. Chris is allergic to photos lol, he always stayed back don't want to snap so I couldn't capture his pics here!

I study Building engineer/Technology, at Federal University of Technology Minna, Niger State. I am a final year student. I love my course of studies because I have passion for construction. Like dealing with the built environment I love it so much. I hobby by course to the extent I spent most of my time on site learning and also at home on drawing boards designing plans. I also love watching tutorial videos and documentaries onprevious construction desigs and procedures and also the present ones.

I am someone who loves taking new challenge and exploring new things. I have a skill on computer, driving, writing, packaging sachet water and operating the liquid packaging machine a little to mention.
I love teaching and I am a motivational speaker too. Smiles!

Me and my friend reading

I love reading, mostly academic based. I spent worth while time on calculations and analysis of structural elements of the building. I love music. I listen mostly to country music and Afrobeats from Fela's album and some powerful reggae from Bob Marley and Lucky Dube. I love that kind of music so much. I do listen to powerful Christian music too. I spent less time on movies!

I like eating, wow! I like cooking and learning new recipes too.
