Today I decide to share with my Hive community the experience of hiking, descending and ascending in forgotten caves in the region where I saw them. I did it yesterday, so for me it was a Sublime and Beautiful Sunday
They call the place Forgotten Grottoes since according to legend they were caves that; At some point they were full of water and were only suitable for diving. Where there was an opportunity where the water disappeared and the rock formations that I will show you below remained.
He also says that these caves were used by the indigenous people to protect them in case of rain or attacks.
The truth is that this place is magical from the moment you arrive. Taking into account that I live on an island, these kinds of places are not ordinary at all. Very few people are aware of its existence. In fact, the group's guides have as mottos that our island is more than beaches. Therefore, they focus on excursions on hills, mountains and caves.
We begin our hiking towards the cave of the heart. Of course since its main entrance has a beautiful heart visible from inside to outside the cave. Inside the cave there were different types of stone depending on the type of erosion they can sustain.

They have not given this cave a name, to me it looks like a chicken thigh.
The depth of these places is incredible, and the beauty within the simplicity.

Inside the caves we observed several animals, stuffed without life. Among them this toad. As well as animals who are already accustomed to the type of life in arid areas, so their food comes from xeric plants.
