I particularly use several cups for my coffee, but my favorite is this one because it has a sentimental value, it is a gift from my love. I don't allow anyone else to use it so they don't break it, that's why every time I have a family visit I tell them, I'm sorry, you will NOT drink with this one.
I always set limits whether with family or friends, it's the only way to avoid bad moments because mugs are breakable objects and even more so when other people are not so careful.
I agree! When our cup is made of a material that breaks, and even more so if it breaks easily, we're even more reluctant to lend them. But I confess that I wouldn't lend my favorite mug even if it were made of iron 🙊

You are very right, when the cup is lent to someone there is always the possibility that it could break. Not all people have the same level of care as others.

We must take care of our relics, the best way is not to share it, it sounds selfish but it is better this way than getting upset about having used it.
