Buenas noches amigos. En esta oportunidad quiero compartir un dibujo un poco fuera de mi zona de confort, aunque sigue siendo parte de lo que mas me gusta dibujar que son los rostros, esta vez quise hacer algo mas cercano, y resaltar mucho los ojos, como he dicho antes, los ojos para mi son la ventana del alma, pueden expresar tristeza, felicidad, ira, con solo una mirada y para este dibujo quise hacer una mirada algo exagerada y cansada, llena de muchos tonos rojizos, me encanta poner este tono en la piel, siento que me representa mucho estos contrastes rojos en algunas zonas como las ojeras y la nariz, intente que el resultado fuese bastante realista y con algo de textura en ciertas partes, aunque si pudiera dedicarle más tiempo, probablemente quedaría aun mas realista, en fin, espero les guste.

In this opportunity I want to share a drawing a little bit out of my comfort zone, although it is still part of what I like to draw which are the faces, this time I wanted to do something closer, and highlight a lot the eyes, as I said before, the eyes for me are the window of the soul, they can express sadness, happiness, anger, with just a look and for this drawing I wanted to do a somewhat exaggerated and tired look, full of many reddish tones, I love to put this tone in the skin, I feel that it represents me a lot these red contrasts in some zones like the dark circles and the nose, I tried that the result was quite realistic and with some texture in certain parts, although if I could dedicate more time to it, probably it would be even more realistic, anyway, I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Esta vez me guie por varias referencias de fotos de ojos de Pinterest, ya que no suelo pintar estos rostros tan cercanos, elegí los colores para trabajar los cuales serian muchos tonos saturados entre rosas y algunos naranjas, tambien marrón claro y oscuro, en una nueva capa coloque mas colores con un pincel duro para terminar de darle forma a todo y proceder a mezclar, para mezclar use el mismo pincel duro con una opacidad media, después de terminar, repase con el pincel difuso para dejar una textura aun mas suave, pinte las cejas y pestañas, tambien detalle un poco mas los ojos y aplique iluminaciones con puntos blancos en varias partes del rostro.

This time I was guided by several references of pictures of eyes from Pinterest, since I don't usually paint these faces so close, I chose the colors to work with which would be many saturated tones between pinks and some oranges, also light and dark brown, in a new layer I placed more colors with a hard brush to finish shaping everything and proceed to blend, to blend use the same hard brush with a medium opacity, after finishing, go over with the diffuse brush to leave an even softer texture, paint the eyebrows and eyelashes, also detail a little more the eyes and apply illuminations with white dots in several parts of the face.

Quise pintar unas sutiles venas alrededor del ojo, específicamente en la parte de la ojera, siento que se vería mucho más dramático de esta forma, agregue más color alrededor del ojo aplicando mas tonalidades rojizas y naranjas, quise iluminar un poco mas asi que agregue más luces sobre todo dentro del ojo, finalice editando la imagen, quizás aumentando un poco mas el contraste y la saturación pero sin exagerar tanto.

I wanted to paint some subtle veins around the eye, specifically in the under eye area, I feel it would look much more dramatic this way, I added more color around the eye applying more reddish and orange tones, I wanted to brighten up a little more so I added more lights especially inside the eye, I finished editing the image, maybe increasing a little more the contrast and saturation but without exaggerating so much.
