Friends, hope you all are happy and healthy. Friends, as time is passing, something new is being seen. Although this is my 8th year in Vadodara city but I have never seen such a flood situation before. It is true that floods keep coming, but such a flood which submerges the entire city, I have not seen such a situation before. There was such a flood 5 years ago but it ended within a day.
I was in deep sleep and I started getting calls one after the other. I got up as soon as the second call rang. My boss told me that today the hospital is handed over to you and you should look after the hospital well so that no patient or employee, doctors, nurses and ward boys face any problem because like the boss's house is flooded, they cannot come. I told him that it is okay, I will see the hospital today and will try not to face any kind of problem.

I brushed my teeth and took a bath with lukewarm water. I had prepared tea and thought that I would have breakfast after reaching the hospital but all my hopes were dashed. As soon as I came out of the house, the water was such that I felt as if I was in the middle of the ocean. I called the hospital and asked them to pick me up because I could get stuck here. Neither my bike nor my car could go from here. Within some time, a jeep came from the hospital in which I sat and reached the hospital.

After reaching the hospital, the first thing I did was go to the canteen. I had breakfast and was coming to the office when I looked at the sky from the terrace and it looked pitch black. It seemed that there would be so much rain today that the entire hospital would be submerged in water. I felt as if the hospital or the entire city would be submerged in water. Because already water was visible all around the hospital.

I took rounds in the hospital and had to inquire about the condition of all the patients. Food was prepared for all the nursing staff and doctors. I felt that this water would not clear for two days, so I had made all the arrangements for two days. Because there is a possibility that there may be a power failure, then whatever light is required, you will need it from a diesel generator. So I had made complete arrangements keeping in mind all the facilities. When I came out of the office in the afternoon, I saw that the water was rising.

It was about to be night time and I got a call from some of my doctors that the place where they live is flooded due to rain and they don't have electricity and there is nothing to eat, so I told them. I was asked to come to my hospital but there was a lot of water in their area so no vehicle could go there, so I sent a tractor there. Because of the tractor I was able to bring him to my hospital.
For this reason, I was not able to remain active on hive and now after 4 days this water has flowed into the river. Now slowly everything is starting again but people have suffered a lot in this rain and many huts have also been washed away in the water. There has been loss worth crores in the city but this is a natural problem and we cannot do anything about it. We cannot fight against nature. So friends, this was my day, see you tomorrow.
