I can totally relate with your story. As you know, I too have a small container garden, mostly ornamental plants though. There were times that I found the plants drying up too. I almost gave up a few times but kept going. I talk to my plants every day and sometimes even sing to them LOL :P They're happiest when it rains. Overall, we're coping and the plants do respond positively to positive talk. Nature truly is amazing.
