Hello, gamers of Hive. I hope you all are doing well.
Today, I will share Kratos and Atreus' journey across Midgard after Kratos had a short battle with Thor. Their fight shook the very realm and made a frozen lightning!
Without further ado, let's begin!
Atreus and Kratos returned home and slept for an unknown period of time after Atreus had turned into a bear out of rage and sadness. His new powers were being discovered and Kratos asked that they train more to learn the extent of his abilities. Then, the shack started to shake, the weather turned black and the winds howled like there was no tomorrow, Kratos and Atreus ran outside to see who was at their doorstep. That's when we see the Norse God of Thunder, Thor. He politely asked to be let in, he had mead. Then shared a few words before they heard another knock on their doorstep, it was the All-Father himself. He calmly sat on the chair and said that killing his grandsons was an act of self-defense but killing Baldur was real damage. He added that keeping his prisoner was fine, and that's when Mimir shouted, "Why should we believe a word you say?". He added by telling Kratos to not believe him if he said the snow was white. The final topic was Atreus, and said he should stop looking for Tyr since he was dead. Then, the All-Father rose from his seat and said that they had stopped the senseless killing and both parties should not interfere with one another and just live in peace and avoid Ragnarok altogether. Kratos quietly rose from his seat and said no. Upon hearing this, Odin told Thor to not take the entire day. With a snap of a finger, the hammer rose up to his hand and hit Kratos sending him flying across the land far away from their home. That's when their fight began. Kratos was taking things lightly so Thor took the opportunity to kill Kratos with one strike. To further the disrespect, he brought him back to life with the hammer's lightning and said that he could die when he wanted him to die. That's when Kratos triggered his spartan rage and lit up the god of Thunder.
I finally get to fight the famed god of thunder, a fat monster with no regard for his own life as he was the most powerful monster out there, after his father.
The fight lasted for approximately 10 minutes and I managed to capture a few snap-worthy moments while fighting in this difficult mode.
This was after the first phase of the fight where Thor begs Kratos to show him who he truly was. In this second phase, he questioned whether his sons fell to him through sheer luck.
After that phase, we get to see Kratos stop the powerful Mjolnir mid-air when Thor threw it at him when he charged toward Thor.
I found this comment made by Thor funny even though this scene is pretty darn good. He told Kratos that him being a dad after he travelled to their realm was not going to give him a clean slate.
And finally, the final sign of disrespect is here. He knocked out Kratos or maybe killed him and that's when the game brings us to this after death scene. Thor says that he says when they were done and hits Kratos with jolts of lightning from the hammer.
This is the most epic scene in the entire fight. Their weapons come in contact and create a stunning snow storm of frozen electric until they charge each other with their weapons and thus a lightning bolt gets frozen in the middle of the arena. Thor then says that the fight somehow felt familiar.
And finally, the scene where their epic showdown comes to an end where Thor acknowledges Kratos and tells him that the blood debt was paid. Kratos kept his composure until Thor mentioned that the All-Father had something in plan for his son. That got Kratos fueled up and he launched a punch that broke one of Thor's teeth.
Once the fight was over, Brok and Sindri came out of hiding, Brok told Sindri that he was certain from the beginning that Kratos would survive the meeting with Thor. Kratos quickly grabbed his axe as he thought there were raiders about.
And that all there is for today. Tomorrow, I shall explore the Fimbulwinter's effects on Midgard as Brok and Sindri accompany Kratos toward him home where Atreus was still with the All-Father. P.s. all the Ai generated images were taken from copilot and bing. The other images were taken from my own video.
