Hello, gamers of Hive. I hope you all are doing well.
Today, I will share about Clementine's stay and adventures at Erikson school. She quickly picked up the pace with everyone else and helped scavenge for food for the little ones while Aj tried to bond with the other little kids.
So, without further ado, let's begin!
Clementine and Aj were out in the wilderness, driving from one place to another, searching for food and perhaps a safe place to crash for a few days. Then, they spotted a shack in the forest area, surrounded by more abandoned shacks. They went inside and found a zombie couple tied to their chairs. A note in front of them said to leave them in peace; they decided to go out that way. They searched the place and found huge numbers of canned food but it was rigged. A grenade burst underneath the place and attracted all the zombies nearby. They somehow managed to escape the shack and to their car but they crashed a few hundred meters away. When she came to, she discovered she was brought to a school run by children. She reunites with Aj and later helps the children clear an incoming wave of zombies using the traps laid out by Louis. That night, they played a card game where they got to know about Clementine and Aj. Marlon asked her to visit him in his office the next morning.
Marlon allows Clem and Aj to stay. He even teaches Clem on how to give commands to Rosie, the principal's dog.
He asked Clem to take at the map of their area. Erikson was mostly surrounded by forest, that's how they were able to avoid unwanted attention, for the most part. Marlon mentioned that their safe zone had been shrinking over the years and food was becoming scarce. So, they needed all the help they could get to feed all the children.
Clem asked if they could venture outside the safe zone. Marlon said in a sad tone how anyone who even went outside the safe zone died or went missing.
Marlon asked if Clem and Aj would venture into the woods with Brody and Violet for fish and later with Louis to find any animals trapped in their traps.
Clem, Aj, Violet, and Brody made their way to the pier. Brody was ecstatic to find how Clem was able to drive while Violet was using her dark humor on her driving skills.
Brody asked Clem where she would go if she gas was not an issue. I made Clem choose the beach as I like the beach.
Later, the ladies fished for some fish and they caught some fish... that's a lot of fish... Clementine got her first fish on her second try with her spear. Aje got his one moments later.
After they filled their bucket, it was time to get back to Aasim and Louis and see how they fared in their quest for food.
At first, it looked deserted, and all their traps were sabotaged. They found no rabbits in the traps, only a dead walker swinging upside down. That means they were robbed.
Aasim and Louis arrived shortly and found the walker, they asked the ladies if they saw what had happened.
Brody had a panic attack and rushed toward Marlon to tell him what had happened while the rest continued their food search. Aasim went back with the rabbit they had and was told that they would have to ration out the food.
Clem led Violet, Aj, and Louis back to the shack where she and Aj had found the canned food. She hoped to find more supplies behind the counter.
There, she found a body that got crushed underneath the trainwreck. They made a plan: Louis would distract the zombies from the top of the train while the others would run for the shack, and it worked!
Fortunately, Clementine found 3 duffle bags and Aj found a lantern, perfect to see in this dark night.
Later, Aj crawled underneath the shack and found more jars of food. This was perfect for them as everyone back at the school would know they could pull their weight.
Unfortunately, they were busted by a guy who had his gun trained at Clem. His name was Abel and he was very hungry. He went to the side and grabbed a duffle bag. He asked Clem about her group and if there were others. Clem said that they merely got lucky with the place as they scavenged the area.
Aj got busted as he came up with another jar of food. He instantly drew his gun. Abel asked Aj to move his gun away from him as he was faster.
Clem peeked outside the window and saw a few walkers. She had a choice: either let him take the bag or get him killed by Aj or the walkers. I chose to attack him myself.
The zombie took care of him while they ran for it. Louis asked what had happened there... Clem said she would explain everything back at the school.
Everyone was super happy to see this amount of food. Violet explained how this place was discovered by Clementine, then they met a guy with different colored eyes; Clem took care of him. Brody said it was outside their safe zone and started to freak out.
Marlon tried to calm her down and asked her to talk in another place. She shoved him down and screamed at Clementine.
Marlon got back up and was not mad at Clementine, he merely told her how hard it was to keep things together. He applauded her for bringing the huge haul.
Back at the dorm. Clementine brought in another drawing made by Tennesse and hung it on the wall. She also complimented it as she talked with Aj.
Late at night, she heard screaming coming from the pipes. She checked on AJ to see if she was okay. Then, she went outside to see the origin of the noise and looked at Aj before she left.
She found the source, it came from the basement of the school. There was a lock on it, so Clem took a huge rock and smashed it.
She entered the place, it was pitch dark and the only source of light was coming from the place where 2 voices could be heard. She went over but slowly.
She was busted though. Brody reluctantly told her everything about that guy in the train station. They had a history with him. She said that last year Marlon handed over the twins to them and told everyone that walkers killed them.
Marlon, in a fit of rage, smacked his flashlight across Brody's head and blood started to pour out. She almost lost consciousness while Marlon said he was sorry to him again and again and promised her she would be okay.
Marlon went to find a bandaid while Brody further said that Marlon was planning to let the bandits take her to make them stay away from the school. Upon hearing this, Marlon grew angry and just then Broday collapsed.
Marlon knew she was about to turn since she was pretty weak. So, he ran for the basement door and locked it behind him, locking up Clem with Brody who was about to turn into a zombie.
Clem went back for the flashlight and that's when she saw the place where Brody had fallen... was empty.
Clem sneaked around the place, avoiding her "friend" and unlocked the door but her friend was persistent and grabbed Clem just as she was about to run to freedom and threw her back in. They both fell.
And so, Clem had no other choice other than to finish off her friend by which she was turned to originally.
Back at the ground level. Aj was mad and pointed his favorite gun at Marlon and asked about his sister. Marlon pointed to the basement and added that she killed Brody.
Clementine arose from the dark and set the story straight. She said that it was Marlon who hit Brody so hard that her head split open.
Moreover, it was Marlon who gave away Ten's sisters to the raiders for protection, added Clementine.
Marlon made some more accusations. He told how they had found her and saved her when anyone else would walk away, kept them warm, and fed her, and that's how they responded with... weapons pointed at Marlon.
Clem appealed to Violet and added that he would not protect her if the raiders came by again.
That got Violet to open her heart toward Clem and decided to side with her. She stood in front of the gun and asked Marlon to do this the right way and everyone else asked Marlon to put down the gun.
Everyone had acknowledged Clementine's position with a grain of salt and agreed that violence must be avoided... so they decided to swarm Marlon.
That is when Marlon knew that no one was believing in him anymore. He yelled at everyone and said that he only wanted to protect everyone.
Tennesse came closer and said that he trusted Marlon... but that's how he betrayed him. Marlo broke down... and said that he did want to save them and stage a rescue but he was too afraid.
And that's when he knew he had lost everyone's trust and hope. He dropped off the gun and sobbed.
He asked that he be left alone and be given a safe passage out of the school and become a bad memory. Everyone else asked that he start over. Louis said that they were all a family and that's all they have left.
Clementine told him that he could stay... but not as a leader but before she could finish, Aj shot Marlon right in the back of his forehead. His defense... he aimed for the head. Everyone else was shocked, especially Clem.
And that's how the season ends. I just googled to see if players could stop Aj from shooting Marlon but there was no way. I just feel annoyed at this kid, he should be punished severely for not understanding the situation.
Regardless, these are my choices for the first episode.
