First time along Lake Uri where a 35 km hiking trail has been created around the most southerly part of Lake Lucerne to celebrate Switzerland's 700th anniversary. The “Swiss Path” also leads along Lake Uri through the Reuss delta to Isleten and the village. Lake Uri is part of amazing lake Lucerne.
Here we have parked in Seedorf, the canton of Uri in central Switzerland, known for the Reuss delta nature rezerve, rich in flora und fauna. The history of this beautiful village is dating back to Roman times.

Th Swiss Path , was created about 1991 to celebrated the 700 th anniversary of the Swiss confederation. The route of the fonding cantons offers a fantastic way to explore the wonderful natur of this area with breathtaking views of Lake Uri, with many rest possibilities also in villages as Flüelen, Sisikon or Bauen. You can also take a ship to Lucerne or other place if you prefer a longer trip.
