Hi to everyone, I hope you are doing well and have a nice week, for today I have more impressions about the island, it was early morning when we stepped from Naples off the ferry to the island of Capri.
Capri is located off the coast of Naples famous for its stunning landscapes, norrow streets, turquoise water many boutiques and of course the famous Faraglioni rock formation. You feel like an escape into timelless elegance.
The natural beauty is deeply connected to its colorful fruits and flowers a perfect harmony between land and sea. The island is also known for its lemons which are used to make limoncello a sweet liqeur, and can be bought or tasted everywhere, sometimes in restaurants for degustation at the end for free.
One of the Capris most beautiful attractions is the blue Grotto, you can reach by small rowboat. Each trip offers a mix of natural beauty , history making boats tour from here a fantastic way to explore the region.
The first stop in the morning was Piazzetta , the heart of island, it was still quiet, with only a few tourists enjoyng the morning espresso. After a cappucino, however, the island slowly came to life. The narrow streets and colorful buildings and hotels seemed to glow in the soft morning light. The locals greeting each other warmly, adding to the islanda friendly atmosphere.
Walking from Piazzetta to Marina Grande offers a beautiful and delightful trip down along the iconic winding streets here a few views.
along the way you pass a few local establishments and residences, sourrounded by lush Mediterranean greenery and flowers
After about one houer with many stops walk we arrive Marina Grande the main port of Capri bustling with activity from ferrys and small boats. Here we also had an appetite - it tasted delicious everywhere.
The sky was blue, mirroring the crystal clear sea, I always want to visit Capri and today it finally felt like a dream coming true, definitely worth a trip even for just one or two days
Have a beautiful peacefully day!
