The Cheisacher Tower

in #photography7 days ago

The observation wood tower is located in the upper part of the Aargau Fricktal in the border area between the municipalities of Gansingen, Laufenburg and Mönthal. The highest point of the tower is around 698 meters above sea level and it is 24 meters tall. It is exactly on the same place where a tower was built almost 100 years ago by the Swiss Federal Office of Topography for measuring and observation work. With the many stairs to the top, it is a very beloved place for sports enthusiasts and walkers, especially in summer.

From the platform on clear days you can enjoy amazing views to the surrounding Jura hils, Black Forest or to the Alps.

Wow, 24 meters tall is still quite a bit of sweat to get up there but the view seems to be worth it.

The landscape is utterly amazing and beautiful at the same time. Thanks for sharing these beautiful sights with us, at least we get to see the world through your lens.

Amazing views from the top! But it would take ages to climb to the top!
