Wednesday walk through Chur

Near the Alps , the oldest town in Switzerland. Chur city was inhabited from the Neolithic Age to Roman times, as archaeological excavations have shown. From here it is possible to reach many beautiful vacation spots for a trip. Unfortunately we have not enough time on this working day.

Here in picture the Italian bridge over the Plessur river in March, when you look closely has an S shape and it was intended for relieve the pedestrians and cyclists.

In the evening,the crossing bridge is atmospheric ally illuminated with LEDs,making the entire architectural looks of the bridge a real eye-catcher.

OMG that is just simply stunning. Definitely a postcard perfect little village.

Oh my god, I just saw your photo in the feed, and I thought this looks Swiss! and I look and I see Chur, and my heart warms up.

I was born, raised, and lived 26 years in Switzerland. And after 18 years in Spain I still think in German, and I still think about Switzerland every day!
