General Layout for the show:
Every day people complain about censorship and algorithmic manipulation of content on platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and even here on YouTube - but they don't do anything about it.
Let's change that. Today you can create an account on Hive and be un-censorable and unstoppable.
Hive itself is a decentralized community governed block chain - what that means is the users of Hive vote for witnesses - who run servers that validate transactions on Hive. No single person or corporation controls it.
When you make a post to Hive the text portion of that and certain meta data is stored directly in the Hive ledger. No one can delete or alter that without your keys. You can't be arbitrarily or easily censored.
To use the Hive Blockchain as social media you access that data you uses a front end application - like InLeio.io , D.Buzz, PeakD, Ecency.com or PeakD.Com. Platforms like 3speak.tv and cast.garden even offer video hosting and video syndication using customized versions of IPFS or substantially augmented Peertube implementations.
Within Hive itself users often organize themselves into Communities - centered around various themes - there are some communities even focused on teaching new users how to use Hive and finding sharing good content.
