Today's one to add to the diary - BPUD, BBHO Power Up day. Going forward, it's the 20th of every month. To qualify for prizes, you should power up at least 100 BBHO, make a post using the BBH tags as well as tagging #bradleyarrow in so he knows it's been done.
I powered up 200 BBHO so I think I qualify, but to be honest it's not about the prizes for me, it's about supporting a Hive project that I think has serious potential and (total self interest, lol) is a good opportunity to grow my Hive earnings.
Also, I have to say it - this isn't an either/or choice. It's not instead of LPUD on the 15th, it's as well as.
Even though it is relatively new, the BBH project has so many ways to earn tokens it's truly impressive.
As a quick summary, there are two tokens, BBH and BBHO.
BBH - is primarily a tipping token, and also pays out a weekly drip of SWAP.HIVE to holders, and other tribe tokens if you hold larger amounts. You can also earn BBH through post tags (if BBH is one of your first five tags).
BBHO - is the curation token for the Outpost, and is effectively the equivalent to HP for it. You can earn this token by holding it, staking it, and upvoting posts within the Outpost. Right now it's cheap, so also worth buying some if you've got spare SWAP.HIVE (like, for example, if you've benefitted from the BBH drip...). One thing I particularly like about it is that when you upvote in the Outpost, it shows you your BBHO vote value, although I haven't yet worked out if it changes in step with the HP vote value or is calculated independently.
In terms of "wish list" things, I appreciate the project and outpost are new. But they are developing fast. I'm sure the "to do" list is huge, but there are a few things I'd love to see....
- Seeing the BBHO vote value when you upvote is fabulous, but it would also be great to see the HP vote value, since my understanding is that when you upvote a post it curates both tokens at the same time.
- I'd love to have something in my profile which shows my current and maximum BBHO vote values and the % vote value I'm at right now. But I appreciate this might be hard to code, since even Leo doesn't do it !
- The ability to add emojis to long-form posts and comments within The Outpost.
So what can you do if you like the project and want to support it ?
There's a lot, and most of them will increase your earnings !
- Buy and hold BBH tokens.
- Buy (or use your SWAP.HIVE drip to buy) and stake BBHO tokens.
- Use one of your witness votes to vote for thebbhproject by bradleyarrow witness node - the higher the node gets up the ranking, the more HIVE it earns, and the more gets returned to BBH holders on the Saturday drip.
- Use the Outpost to post and upvote.
- Participate in BPUD.
- Use the BBH tag when you post in any front end.
- Use the !BBH command when you comment - when people find more BBH in their Tribe Token wallets, it'll hopefully make them more interested in the project, and helps to spread the word.
