It's Saturday and the weather outside is dreadful ! Most of the UK has apparently seen some snow, all we've got here is gale force winds and cold, driving horizontal rain. Seems like the perfect day to stay indoors, work on my new website and write a couple of Hive posts 😀 Including this one.... my #SaturdaySavers update.

How Did The Week Go ?
I think the question should be not "How did the week go ?", it should be "Where did the week go ?"
Most of the week was taken up with the "real world" task of running my business. Between prepping for Black Friday, finishing off a project to drop a major piece of software that no longer works for us, and starting work on a new website (considerably more modern than the current one !) it's been pretty manic.
Despite all this somehow I still managed to do a Hive post every day of the week. Earnings dropped a little, but were still a respectable 46.371 HP and 6.64 HBD.
That brings the average I need to earn each week for the rest of the year down from 29.128 to 25.679, which looks increasingly achievable.
I think it's a case that when I'm madly busy in real life, I tend to fall back on writing posts that are in more "comfortable" communities rather than those which have big audiences generating higher payouts. I'm okay with that, because I think I'm still maintaining the quality of posts, even if less people are reading them.
Another factor which is working in my favour is that HIVE and (especially) HBD are effectively assets denominated in US dollars. Through a combination of the HIVE price going up a bit and the way the British Pound is absolutely tanking after damage the recent budget did to private sector businesses, anything I've got that's valued in dollars is rising in value fast.
The other thing I'm continuing to focus on is building my stash of BBHO. That's the token for @thebbhproject by @bradleyarrow (vote for his witness if you haven't already - this looks increasingly like a project that's going to stick around !)
Last Wednesday way BPUD (BBHO Power Up Day) and I staked over 800 of them. The price is currently rising fast, but I'm aware that Hive layer 2 tokens can be incredibly volatile, so there will come a point where I focus on earning them rather than just buying them with my rapidly-diminishing stack of liquid HIVE.
So all in all another week of good solid progress. How was yours - I hope it was as good !
