Hi Cinnamon Cup Coffee friends!
This is the first time that I have accepted the invitation to The Coffee Shop Prompt and I have chosen to do it in week 8 because last weekend I met a spectacular coffee shop that I would like to introduce to you. It's called Páramo Café and you could say it's already a chain of coffee shops, but they're very special, I think it's just being born because as far as I know it only has branches in 4 cities and three of them are in my city, I've already met two of them, one in the centre of Caracas and the other in the Sambil shopping centre.
I didn't know there was a third café until last weekend when I went on a trip with my husband, we took the cable car up to the Waraira Repano, which is a mountain that separates the city from the Caribbean Sea on the other side, when we get to the top we can see the sea on one side and the capital of Venezuela on the other.
My big surprise was when we got off the funicular and walked a few metres to see this beautiful Páramo Café, which was the first thing that greeted us on the mountain.
This ride is very versatile and gives us many possibilities to visit in different waves, for example you can go up relaxed and casual to walk a little and have something to eat, you can go up elegant to enter the casino or the lounges, you can go up to stay in the luxurious Humboldt Hotel (I wish I could) and you can also walk or do sport tracking to reach the top.
The whole route to the top is very nice and there are many places with rural decorations where you can sit and have a coffee or a hot chocolate, but the decoration of the Páramo Café has a different note to it, as the decoration is very eclectic, there are many modern details, but at the same time it gives a warm and nostalgic touch, as they have exhibitions of very old objects in stained glass windows.
I like the character of the place, I had a fantastic time here. You can tell by the spaciousness of the room and the furniture that they are prepared to receive the large number of people that come in during the high season. This time it was a very quiet day, the place was so lonely that I asked my husband to make a video of me doing a fashion runway for my participation in a Hive's Top Model challenge, and I am very happy with how it turned out, I really liked the lighting, the floor material, the ceiling and the decorations on the walls, everything could be seen in my video.
I thought it was really wonderful the way they managed to make such a large space feel warm and cozy and at the same time very contemporary. We decided to have hot chocolate and try two types of biscuits, an oatmeal sultana and a red velvet, I liked the red velvet better, but the oatmeal sultana was delicious too.
I hope I have chosen the 6 photos that best capture the charm of this place, for me, it will be unforgettable because my husband and I had a special date there and because it served as the setting for the video I shot.
I hope you are very happy and that the aroma of coffee fills your life, I will follow you to know your experiences with coffee.
I hope you liked my story.
Aho!
