I took my 5 year old to buy her uniform because she is starting preschool, we were only supposed to make a short trip to the store and then go home, but my children had other plans in mind for the day.
lleve a mi pequeña de 5 años a comprara su uniforme pues comienza el preescolar , se suponía que solamente íbamos a hacer un viaje corto hacia la tienda y luego volveríamos a la casa, pero mis hijos tenían otros planes en mente para pasar el día.
When we left the store where my daughter made friends with the sales clerks who even taught her how to take a selfie in front of the mirror, my daughter asked us to buy her something cold because it was very hot that day and we went to see if they were working and to our surprise they were closed so we decided to continue our trip to the chocolate house and have some cold milkshakes.
Al salir de la tienda donde mi hija entablo una amistad con las dependientes llegando estas a enseñarle incluso como tirarse una selfie frente el espejo , mi niña pidió que le compráramos algo frio pues hacia muchísimo calor cerca de ahí hay una heladería muy rica y pasamos a ver si estaba trabajando para nuestra sorpresa estaba cerrada así que decidimos seguir el viaje hacia la casa del chocolate y tomarnos unos batidos fríos.
When we left there, we had to go through the door of a very interesting and nice museum which is the science museum, as soon as my children saw it they ran to the door asking us to take them to see it, and we had no choice but to enter with them, in the end it was a fun time for everyone, it is a very instructive and interactive museum and keeps a valuable collection of stuffed animals, the staff is very prepared and are always willing to answer any questions from children, my children had a great time, although the animal exhibition area scared them a little.
Cuando salimos de ahí , tuvimos que pasar por la puerta de un museo muy interesante y lindo que es el de ciencia , en cuanto mis niños lo vieron corrieron hacia la puerta pidiendo que los lleváramos para verlo , y no tuvimos mas opciones que entrar con ellos , al final fue un momento muy divertido para todos , es un museo muy instructivo e interactivo y guarda una valiosa colección de animales disecados , el personal es muy preparado y siempre están dispuestos a responder cualquier pregunta de los niños , mis niños la pasaron muy bien , aunque el área de exposición de animales les asusto un poco
when leaving we passed by the Plaza de Armas where my children were entertained for a while running after the pigeons, and seeing the fountain of desires that called them much attention, we made our wishes and threw coins each one, for the little ones this square is very interesting, in it are the planetarium and the camera obscura two very beautiful places that unfortunately were closed.
al salir pasamos por la plaza de armas donde mis niños se entretuvieron un rato corriendo detrás de las palomas , y viendo la fuente de los deseos que les llamo mucho la atención , pedimos nuestros deseos y lanzamos monedas cada uno , para los pequeños esta plaza es muy interesante , en ella se encuentran el planetario y la cámara oscura dos lugares muy hermosos que por desgracia estaban cerrados
When I was about to end our trip, my children discovered the museum of the captains general or as my daughter calls it, the palace of the princesses. We also had to go in and my children did not leave a room unvisited and when we left a lady called us from inside a museum that is a little further along, which is the goldsmith's museum, where they were having an open exhibition and it was free. Could I go in with the children and see it? My daughter did not even let me say no. She ran to the museum with her brother and they began to look at the exhibition that was titled, hygiene and comfort in the 19th century. A very beautiful exhibition where they had a number of vases used for hygiene in that era, gold and mother-of-pearl brushes, the different canes that were used, and they told us that in that place lived a marquis who was in charge of making sure that old Havana had cobblestones because he suffered from migraines and the noise of the cars at night did not make him feel uncomfortable. cuando ya me disponia a terminar nuestro viaje mis hijos descubrieron el museo de los capitanes generales o como le dice mi hija , el palacio de las princesas , tambien tuvimos que entrar y mis hijos no dejaron una sala sin visitar y cuando salimos una señora nos llama de dentro de un museo que esta un poco mas adekante que es elde orfebreria , que estaban dando una exposicion abierta y era gratuita , que podia pasar con los niños y verla , mi hija no me dejo ni decir no , corrio hacia el museo con su hermano y comenzaron a mirar la exposicion que se titulaba , la higiene y el confort en el siglo 19 , muy hermosa exposicion donde tenian una cantidad de vasijas utilizadas para el aseo de esa epoca , cepillos de oro y nacar , los distintos bastones que se utiliaron ,y nos comentaron que en ese lugar vivia un marques que era el encargado de que la habana vieja tuviera adoquines pues padecia de migraña y el ruido de los coches de noche no lo dejaban dormir por lo tanto mando adoquinar toda esa area para poder dormir
In the end, buying uniforms turned into an adventure and a tour of museums. I am glad to see that my children, so young, like to learn and that history calls to them, but in the end I almost had to drag them to the house because we were going to arrive at night if we followed their impulses to walk.
Al final la compra de unos uniformes se convirtio en toda una aventura y recorrido por los museos , me alegra ver que mis niños tan pequeños les guste conocer y la historia los llame , pero al final tuve casi que arrastrarlos hacia la casa por que ibamos a llegar de noche si seguiamos los impuslsos de caminar de ellos dos
