In recent times now, the production of different fabrics and materials has been discovered to contribute to the excessive non-biodegradable waste that fills up the earth.
So In commemoration of earth day, I will be making use of pieces of fabrics I no longer use for this tutorial, rather than disposing them.
STEP ONE
Get a long piece of fabric of length 27 inches and width of 5 inches.
STEP TWO
Fold it into two to the wrong side and stitch the near end. Leave a little space at the top and bottom while stitching.
STEP THREE
After stitching, turn your fabric to the right side and see how it looks like.
STEP FOUR
Take the two ends that are open, join it together and stitch it from the wrong side before turning it.
STEP FIVE
By the time you are done , there will be a small hole at the base of where you just stitched. Pass a 6 inches elastic band through it using a safety pin.
STEP SIX
After passing the elastic band through it it will look like this.
Stitch the two ends of the elastic band before leaving it.
STEP SEVEN
Close the opened part by stitching on it
STEP EIGHT
After doing that, here it's what it will look like at last.
.
It can be used to pack you hair for ladies or wear as a band.
