Model Kit Review, 1/72 Scale Nieuport Delage NID 622

in #hive-1736303 years ago

Hello, hivers!

I'm back again with another model kit review!

For this review, I'll be looking at the 1/72 scale kit for the Nieuport Delage NID 622 airplane. This kit was manufactured by Heller, of France. The box art shows that this kit was probably made in the 1980s. Production of this kit started in 1979 with this box art. The kit was re-issued in 1993 with different box art, and re-issued again in 1996 with different box art again, as well as new decals for the kit.

The Nieuport Delage was a French fighter airplane that was designed and tested in the 1920s, and went into production in September of 1930. There were at least 242 planes of this type built for the French air force between 1930 and 1933, as well as some built for export to Peru during that period.

Here is my video for my model kit review. The video is a bit less than 8 minutes long.

Thanks for checking out my video for this kit review!

The WW1 Nieuports were some of my favorite biplane fighters. The interwar biplanes are interesting to me from a technological standpoint, but they just don't pull me in as much.

Yes, there is something fascinating about the WW1 biplanes. The technology advanced pretty quickly during the war.
