It is a rainy day here and been catching up on things I needed to do in the house. Doing some laundry, catching up on the dirty dishes those things that fall by the wayside when working on other things outside. I took the step-van on its maiden drive after putting a lot of time, effort, and money into it. I went a little over a 100 miles round trip to find out if it had little things that mechanically needed to be fixed. I found a couple of things, The dim to bright for the lights quit working as it is the pull on the turn signal switch on the column. I had to drive the last few miles with the bright lights on, luckily there were very few cars that passed me on the back roads I took home. Then about 3 miles from the house the headlights just went out, played with the switch and they finally came back on. I was rough driving slow with the flashers going to keep trying to get home. Something I will have to check out and try to get fixed soon.
I cannot quit on it yet as I have put new brakes all the way around, a new pitman arm and a new idler arm, also new upper control arms on the step-van, everything else checked out to be good. I want to get all the mechanicals fixed and good before I start building it out. If it does not run well then building it out makes no sense at all.
I hoped to be on the road already but things have held me back for a little while. That is normal I guess, as things always happen when you least expect them to. Tomorrow we go to court to get the judge to sign off on our divorce and it will be final. Again, some things in life do not work out as planned and life just goes on. It is not a bad thing as we are and will be friends through all of this as we have grandkids to think of and other things to take care of. Just moving forward one day at a time and pushing forward.
I will be hopefully, on the road soon and I have some things planned for down the road. I want to find a piece of property to buy and set it up for people, fellow nomads, a place to build, or be able to have somewhere to work on the vehicles. For a fee of course, so I can make a profit from it. I want to take the profits from that and do something with those on Hive, not sure as of now the where or what, talking to someone that might be able to help and doing more on the Hive blockchain with all of that. That is the future and not really sure of all the details yet, still thinking and going over ideas with that part of it.
I will not make a proposal on all of that because well, I doubt it would work as I am not a known big account on Hive, it would just be a waste of HBD and time for me to try. Just a little guy as of now but hopefully not for much longer.
I was going to do a wrap on the step-van to promote the Hive blockchain but it was way too expensive to do for me. The step-van will be getting a new paint job in the future and it might promote Hive with that but not really sure if it would be a successful tool or not. As being a small channel I could not really help people with resources to post, vote, etc, as it took me a few years to just get where I am today. It would be really discouraging for new people on the blockchain on the struggles to get started and known here on Hive. I guess that is the downside of the blockchain!
