I was less busy today, so I decided to visit the street of Facebook and viola.. Something was trending.

A popular musician is currently trending because he publicly proposed to a lady after divorcing his wife two weeks ago.

I am only concerned about the lesson from the story, after seeing this picture on Facebook.

"Never love anyone more than you love yourself." Many people are just selfish and they really don't care about you. Others are there for the benefit and when they can no longer benefit from you they just opt out.

It's really disturbing to make a person your world. I mean if you're in a relationship and you're so dependent on a person to have a good day, dress fine, smell nice, smile or do other things, I think it's about time you stopped and reevaluate what you're doing.

Never lose yourself because you're in love. Instead of making a person your world , make the person a part of your world so that when he or she leaves, you have other parts to function.

From the research I made, Annie Idibia met Tuface when she was 15years old and I bet he was her first love.

According to her, she met him before other ladies who eventually became a baby mama to him.

I'm sure she loved him so much that she ignored the red flags. She went ahead to marry him, all in the name of "first love." Well, I have no problem with that, but along the line, Annie made her world revolve around her man , and today she's paying dearly for it.

While you're loving a person, always have a reservoir. People are like the season, they can decide to change the next minute and honestly there's nothing you can do.

It's the height of disrespect for me. How can you propose to another woman, two weeks after publicly announcing your separation with your wife like the whole relationship over the decades meant nothing to you.

I know each one of them have their own sides to the story. But then, he would have been kinder at least.

Rather than chase after people who do not see your worth, please build a life for yourself. Build your career, build your personality and build anything that can make you ten times valuable in the future.

It's sad to see how Annie lost herself because of love. She stopped caring for herself, her career suffered , it almost felt like Tuface was the air she breathed and now her world has crashed. I hope she'd get back stronger because it's really gonna be tough on her.

Please be kind to yourself and never accept disrespect because you're blinded by love.

Love is kind, love is not selfish, love is caring and always choose your pain wisely. It's very dangerous to let somebody love you more than you love yourself.

Love yourself enough to choose to walk away from people who treats you like trash. Be kind enough to yourself to know that you deserve respect even though you make room for their flaws. You teach people how to treat you, and always remember that only you can treat yourself better..
