Sometimes, monochrome’s come out just like magic. Pretty impressive! Isn’t it! They look beautifully awesome.
Today, I am sharing couple of monochrome images from my captures at David Austin Roses. They really give unique mystic look.
We all very well know and understand that #Monochrome as such and this abbreviation is evidently derived from the Greek origins, where… "mono"… (single), and "chroma"… (color)…, typically refers to images…photos…pictures… produced using “varying shades” from a single color or “grayscale”.
Besides, the term “Black & White” itself clearly refers to the use of two shades that are fairly evident in any of these pictures…In #BlackandWhite…No other colors or shades…yet there can be some hues that are clearly or not so clearly part of the image! Ohhh My My !!! Still it will look amazingly wonderful picture! How fascinating!!!
Ideally in any image, monochrome captures sheer simplicity, consistency, key attention & focus, highlighting form, quality & texture, besides… the composition over the distraction of diverse hues. That makes it look astoundingly remarkable! Yes!!! Ofcourse…it really does!
Quite interestingly, this particular singular palette so very really evokes a timeless… & truly universal appeal… bridging art forms & cultures in the most appropriate manner!!!
The sheer significance of monochrome literally lies in its wonderful ability to exceed and transcend time & trends, amazingly making it a truly favoured medium in the field of photography, painting, art and design in a marvelous way.
Monochrome has millions of lovers, worldwide with its wide acceptance, to date and possibly till eternity.
Quite beautifully, monochromatic works artistically refine themes to their amazing spirited essence, greatly revealing essentially intrinsic beauty that is pretty often overlooked or goes unnoticed in the presence of vivid & vibrant colors.
In Monochrome form of photography, it categorically highlights “contrast & lighting”, particularly adding core “depth & drama” to the artistic compositions that become super enchanting despite lacking or in the absence of fairly vivid and vibrant colors that generally steal the show...usually!
Appealingly, monochrome simply excites contemplation and delicate reaction or emotion. How amazing is that!
It’s quite evident that all of this story started with the onset of Black and White Photography only, worldwide!, since inception and continues till date quite brilliantly in this modern era or enchanting and fascinating colors.
Moreover, its typically restrained “palette” creates surreal atmosphere or environment of “calm or sheer intensity”, dependent on the shades used or as the case may be.
Monochrome… realistically offers “clarity & minimalism”, by simply allowing the viewers to connect with the essence of the subject matter. Its minimalist or modest elegance/grace/style pretty often carries more power/command/influence… than a riot of colors, secretly embodying and symbolising the viewpoint and philosophy of “less is more” In the most subtle manner. You gotta believe it, truthfully!
Therefore, “monochrome” is not simply or merely an absence of colour…as such… but a deliberate attempt and celebration of “simplicity & depth”, brilliantly resonating… universally through its sheer simple, pure and evocative appeal that has plenty of, rather millions of getting fascinated to in the most remarkable manner.
