One of the worst things about having your birthday on the 31st of December is that everyone celebrates the moment it's over. Don't ask me what age I am. I lost that battle when I ran out of fingers and toes. Just know that I am old enough to remember a world without electronic entertainment and still remember having to walk miles to school in my bare feet (ok maybe that was a dream). I still feel young and apart from a few phantom pains my body and mind are still in working order.
At present, I am still restricting my movements due to covid exposure and feel like a single parent because my wife is still in the hospital. This will be until I can prove that we don't have the plague. We had a PCR test today. What better way to celebrate a birthday than to have someone tickle your brain through your nose with a Qtip. It is all a bit surreal and the kind of ending I should have really expected to what has been a very difficult year. I will be glad to ring this one out.
You may have noticed that I have been a lot more on Hive lately. This is because of the cabin fever and Hive is giving me an escape. There is a lot to be excited about with Hive at the moment and 2022 is shaping up to be an exciting year. Airdrops of new projects will be a great start to the year and even if the whole crypto market goes down the toilet I know that Hive will still be here buzzing away and I'll still be here doing my thing.
As it comes to the end of the year I figured I should do something to mark the occasion and drop another NFT (as the cool kids say). I liked this piece when I made it, it has some great memories. When I put it up as an NFT you are not just getting the image you are getting proof of ownership of part of the actual sculpture even though it does not exist anymore. It is my way of preserving it for future generations on the Blockchain and I hope that it will get me on the NFT ladder.
You can read about the sculpture here and of course, check it out in my NFTshowroom gallery
I'd like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy New Year and thank everyone for their support over the last year.
