Hello Hivers! Good day, how’s your day today? I hope all is well. This is my second time posting here in this community. Thank you very much for the warm welcome shown by all of you here. I’m going to share with you the moment when we picked up my husband together with our son, and my sister at the airport (exciting moment).
It is an indescribable feeling when I know that my husband is about to go home. As regards his work, He signed a 3-month contract, after which their Captain let him sign another 3 months extension supposedly, but he refused to sign. The emptiness he felt when he doesn’t have us (his wife and his son) compared to now is different. Aside from that, he wanted to go home because he has a phobia of the big waves coming from the sea (so scary). That is why he decided not to sign the contract any more and went home and then will spend his holidays with us (happiness overload) after going back to work again.
At night, we were very excited to pack things up. My husband told me that we will stay overnight in the city. I let my sister accompany me because this is my first time traveling alone with my son. I am afraid if have no one to be with. Good thing my sister doesn’t have class, and, in my case, I asked permission from our principal to be absent on this very important day (she is a very considerate one).
While waiting for the Bus……
We don’t have our vehicle that is why we wait for the bus to come. There is a bus parked there but it is not an airconditioned one that is why we waited for almost an hour for it to come. I am just thinking of my son because he sweats a lot. While waiting, I grab the chance to take some photos of my son in the parking area. I am so happy that my son was very cooperative this time.
Here we Go….
While traveling, my son asked for his milk, he has eaten his breakfast but not that much which is why I let him drink his milk even though it was just a minute before we were inside the bus. He loves standing up and looking around. Occasionally, I let him sit down for his legs to relax. Although, it took 3 hours to get there my son never mind it. He loves traveling too but because of COVID-19, we refrain from doing so.
At the Stop Over……
After half an hour we arrived at the stopover where we can take our pee, attend some call of nature, or even buy food to eat and water to drink. The place was so clean and quiet, there are no other buses just the bus where we are but there are just a few private vehicles on the other side. Truly, the place has a peaceful ambiance where at some point you can think deeper while looking at the clouds. Pondering things like the beauty of life and the wonderful nature given by God.
At the Airport……
This is the first time that our son is with us while picking up his daddy. When we’re still outside of the airport, our son finds it uneasy to continue walking. The place is new to him as well, and he’s afraid. Eventually, upon talking to him and explaining why we were there, he understands. He found a friend with whom they are having fun and running around. My eyes and attention are on him, but I let him play as well to minimize his boredom while waiting.
We had also the chance to take some photos with this big Christmas tree. Christmas is in the air already. The decorations are so elegant, with so many balls. Lovely to look at and you may be tempted to take a picture with it. It is the center of attraction in the said place. My son loves to get the ball and bounce it on the ground, but I reprimand him for doing it because guards are watching, and I don’t want that they might get angry with us.
Daddy is Here……
The moment when our son saw his daddy, he reluctantly approaches him. Maybe he doesn’t recognize him right away. Immediately, my husband kissed and hugged our son and then carry him (so sweet). I can see the happiness felt by our son upon seeing his daddy and my husband also is very happy seeing us after 3 months of being away. I am so thankful as well that we’re complete again (To God be the Glory).
My Son’s Moment at the Airport……
While waiting for the food we order, we let our son explore the place. These are the photos taken while he keeps on walking and just doing whatever he wants. Don’t you worry, he is guarded by me? Everything is in control. We just wanted him to do everything there as if he is being released from prison. After eating, we went directly to the hotel where we stay for a night.
That’s all for today my dear fellow hivers. Thank you so much for your time reading my blog.It would be of great help. Stay safe and God bless everyone. Sending you my virtual hugs and love.
