This is part 1 of a series of three paintings (I will share part 2 and 3 soon). I looked it up and I painted them in fall of 2022! Wow, how time flies!
I remember that was a time when I painted a lot, we were on the road, I was in low spirits and painting was the only thing that comforted me.
It feels so good to post my art again!
I still love all my paintings so much and wouldn’t want them just gather dust on my harddrive without ever getting the chance to be seen by anyone but me.
To me making a piece of art is only one part of the equation. But the process is really only finished when I finally share and give someone a chance to maybe enjoy it. I have to let it go to make space for new creative ideas.
You can see in the process video below how much I tinkered with this one! I think I did the shading five times over ^^
But that’s how I work, I’m not an organized painter at all. Sometimes a painting takes forever, but I don’t mind, because I actually really love the creation process :)
I really love the colors in this first part, it has actually been my wallpaper since its completion, and I’m still not at all tired of seeing it every day.
Alright, enjoy the process video with my sweet ukulele tune in the background!
Oh, and if you care for NFT’s and feel inclined to buy one, you can purchase this fine piece of art on @nftshowroom: https://nftshowroom.com/gallery/anafae_kunst_dont-loose-your-hat-in-the-jungle-part-1
