Hoy dije, ¡BASTA YA!
Today I said, ENOUGH ALREADY!I am exhausted, worn out, about to throw it all down the drain. With levels of stress that I have never handled before.
I don't know if it happens or has happened to you from time to time.
I mean, I have a one year and five month old baby. I recently moved in with him and his father. Besides, I have two jobs to take care of.
I get up at 7:30 with my son. My husband works nights and usually arrives in the mornings. He grabs the baby at 9 o'clock and I start working. But, my son almost always interrupts, he asks me to breastfeed him.
At 10:30 I usually get up to make lunch. I finish at about 11:30 and sit down again until 12:30 when I get up to eat.
Then I do sit down until the afternoon. I eat until 5 o'clock which is when I finish everything.
In all that time, my son is almost always there, asking for attention and I feel bad that I can't give it to him.
I spend the whole night alone with him and I can't manage to organize my time, even so. I was scolded at work because I lack organization and concentration.
But, I can never take my senses off my son. My constant anguish for him to be well.
I don't know if I'm wrong, if it's not healthy or if it happens to them. Or how they've managed to figure it out?
I just know that today I feel worn out and frustrated, because I feel I can't do my job well, nor can I be a good mother.
Posibles soluciones
He pensado en posibles soluciones a mi conflicto.
Possible solutions
I have thought of possible solutions to my conflict. But, they all include leaving my son away during the day.
I thought about finding an office or sending him to my mother's house. I've noticed that when I'm there, I'm usually better organized because he spends more time entertaining with her and my sister.
But, it doesn't feel right to take him away. I have the concept that the mother should be where the son is.
I just know that at the end of the day I feel worn out, because I don't feel like I'm accomplishing anything.
