¡Hola mis queridos amigos de Hive! Espero estén teniendo un gran inicio de este mes festivo, debería decir que desde hoy ya empecé a escuchar musica navideña y de más pero realmente estoy en esa onda desde octubre jaja. Pero el día de hoy no les quería hablar de eso sino de mi experiencia aplicando al censo de las becas Jesús Enrique Lossada o como lo conocemos los marabinos las becas “JEL“

Hello my dear friends of Hive! I hope you are having a great start of this festive month, I should say that since today I started listening to Christmas music and more but I'm really in that vibe since October haha. But today I didn't want to talk about that but about my experience applying to the Jesús Enrique Lossada scholarship census or as we Marabinos know it, the "JEL" scholarships.

Las becas JEL, fueron y son una gran oportunidad para que los recién egresados y aquellos que siempre han querido estudiar pero por distintas circunstancias no hayan podido logren finalmente este cometido. En esta oportunidad el censo se dividió en 3 capítulos, el primero consistía en la aplicación a las universidades y tecnológicos privados, para optar a este se debía cumplir con ciertos requisitos como ser bachiller, no poseer título universitario y no estar activo en una carrera universitaria por otro lado los documentos a consignar solo eran la cedula laminada y una copia de la misma; el segundo capítulo era para aplicar a la Universidad del Zulia aquí debías de igual manera ser bachiller, no estar cursando una carrera universitaria, entregar copia de la cédula y mostrar la cédula laminada con el plus de que en este caso el documento extra a consignar era tener la planilla de la OPSU y la asignación a LUZ; y el último capítulo era la escuela virtual, que he de decirle que fue una de los censos más populares y por el que yo opté, este era el único capítulo para el que aquellos ya egresados de la universidad podían optar.

The JEL scholarships were and are a great opportunity for recent graduates and those who have always wanted to study but for various reasons have not been able to finally achieve this goal. In this opportunity the census was divided into 3 chapters, the first consisted of the application to private universities and technological universities, to qualify for this must meet certain requirements such as being a high school graduate, not possessing a university degree and not being active in a university career on the other hand the documents to consign were only the laminated ID card and a copy of it; The second chapter was to apply to the University of Zulia, here you had to be a high school graduate, not be pursuing a university degree, submit a copy of the ID card and show the laminated ID card with the added bonus that in this case the extra document to submit was to have the OPSU form and the assignment to LUZ; and the last chapter was the virtual school, which I must tell you was one of the most popular census and for which I opted, this was the only chapter for which those already graduated from the university could opt.

Afortunadamente el censo en mi municipio, a pesar de solo tener un punto habilitado, estuvo muy tranquilo. La cola corrió de manera rápida y aunque yo haya llegado a una hora relativamente tarde para este tipo de actividades, en menos de 1 hora ya estaba censada y lista para irme.

Fortunately the census in my municipality, despite only having one point, was very quiet. The queue ran quickly and although I arrived relatively late for this type of activity, in less than an hour I was already registered and ready to leave.

Al momento de estar en la mesa del censo nos pidieron elegir 3 carreras de las distintas que se encontraban en el módulo 3 la cual era la escuela virtual. Mi primera elección y la que más aspiro lograr obtener es la de Marketing Digital. Mi sorpresa fue que cuando nos pasan a la mesa donde debemos dejar los datos de contacto, la persona que recolectaba los datos mencionó que era la más popular incluso para los recién graduados que preferían censarse en este tipo de cursos que optar por la carrera universitaria.

When we were at the census table, we were asked to choose 3 careers from the different ones that were in module 3, which was the virtual school. My first choice and the one I most aspire to obtain is Digital Marketing. My surprise was that when we were passed to the table where we had to leave our contact information, the person collecting the data mentioned that it was the most popular even for recent graduates who preferred to enroll in this type of course rather than opt for a university career.

De lo que pude averiguar respecto a la escuela virtual (instintos periodísticos activos) es que su duración será de 1 año y es como una especie de curso o diplomado. Ahora solo debemos esperar hasta el 15 o 16 del mes de diciembre a la realización del sorteo. Este simplemente fue el primer paso, un censo para luego realizar el sorteo donde muchos de nosotros esperamos salir seleccionados. Que la suerte nos acompañe y felices Juegos del Hambre, jaja no pude evitar no decir esto.

From what I could find out about the virtual school (active journalistic instincts) is that its duration will be 1 year and it is like a kind of course or diploma. Now we only have to wait until December 15 or 16 for the drawing of lots. This was simply the first step, a census to then carry out the draw where many of us hope to be selected. May luck be with us and happy Hunger Games, haha I couldn't help but say this.

De verdad que me siento feliz de haber tenido la oportunidad, al igual que mi amor @hectorfaria1 quien también aprovechó el censo, por tener esta oportunidad de seguir aprendiendo cosas nuevas que nos permitan expandir nuestros horizontes en el ámbito laboral y hasta personal. De igual manera es una ayuda enorme para aquellos que buscan realizar sus carreras universitarias y que anteriormente no hayan podido, hasta para los nuevos egresados que tal vez por un momento pensaron en no estudiar y con esto se reviviran sus esperanza de continuar sus estudios profesionales. Lo importante es que continuemos mejorando, no perder la motivación de ser mejor persona, de aprender y de crecer en todos los sentidos. Siempre, aunque no lo parezca no llegarán esa señal o esa oportunidad que nos guiará hacia esa meta que tanto esperamos cumplir, solo debemos estar dispuestos a seguir las señales.

I am really happy to have had the opportunity, as well as my love @hectorfaria1 who also took advantage of the census, to have this opportunity to continue learning new things that allow us to expand our horizons in the workplace and even personally. It is also a huge help for those who are looking to pursue their university careers and previously have not been able to, even for new graduates who perhaps for a moment thought about not studying and with this will revive their hope to continue their professional studies. The important thing is to continue improving, not to lose the motivation to be a better person, to learn and to grow in every way. Always, although it may not seem like it, there will come that sign or that opportunity that will guide us towards that goal that we hope to achieve, we just have to be willing to follow the signs.
