Welcome to, "RUMAH IBU". In English it means mother's house. This name means something simple, namely a place that feels comfortable, like our mother's house, which serves food and drinks that are comfortable for our tongues. The menus that will feel like dishes made by mother.
The decoration of this place is just an ordinary house. A simple, classic house that will immediately remind visitors of most types of houses in Indonesia. Even so, this place still looks elegant with good lighting techniques and spacious layout.
On the terrace, it will feel like being on a cool terrace with several ornamental plants around it. Meanwhile, when we enter, we will find a design made of wood. Wood material that is commonly used in classic houses.
The door also uses thick wood material. It looks sturdy and creates a warm ambiance, like when a child is in a mother's house full of love. Meanwhile, to give a modern impression, this place has a multifunctional room divider as well as for air ventilation.
Next, let's discuss the drinks and food that I ordered in this comfortable and warm place. For drinks, I ordered iced coffee. While for food, I chose a traditional Indonesian snack called "RISOL" which is similar to spring rolls.
COFFEE TIME
Iced coffee with brown sugar flavor is served in a small bottle. However, we will also be given ice cubes in a separate serving glass.
So, we can pour it slowly or little by little into a serving glass that already contains iced cubes.
This coffee bottle packaging certainly reminds me of bottled drinks when I was little which were so popular. At that time, people would feel cool if they could buy and drink bottled drinks.
There is no doubt about the taste of this iced coffee. Well, if you visit Indonesia, you must try the coffee menu served with brown sugar flavor, either hot coffee or iced coffee variant.
SNACKS
For snacks, this is called "RISOL". A type of spring roll filled with various types of vegetables. It's just that this snack has a thicker skin and is coated with breadcrumbs.
I enjoyed "RISOL" with spicy chili sauces. OHHHHHHH, So good! True, when tasting the food here, it will actually remind me of a mother's cooking that her child will always like no matter what.
