Who is your biggest enemy? Not anyone, but only yourself. Especially our own thoughts. When we grow up and start to stabilize in our careers, we get used to facing many external enemies. But, we still have our biggest enemy from within, namely ourselves.
The biggest enemy also keeps changing like the mind never stops. If we cannot control our thoughts, then our thoughts are actually very evil. Do you believe in that?
Unfortunately, we often feel unmotivated. The more comfortable we feel with ourselves, the more afraid we become to move. We are afraid to take new steps, and we feel like failures!
Well, let me take a sip of my hot coffee first. This is my cup of coffee before it gets dark. I decided to stop at my favorite cafe to work online.
The color of the cup is red, which ignites enthusiasm. But actually, I also often feel unmotivated. That's natural because we are only human. And, my job is to fight my enemy.
What do you do if you lack or are not motivated? Because I like watching and reading books, I usually choose sad genres.
I remembered a sad film that I watched last night. It really made me cry and also made me angry at the "enemy within me".
The film is entitled, "The Color Of Paradise". This film comes from Iran and was released in 1999. I don't even know why I watched this film. It started with a review that passed on my YouTube homepage which then made me interested in watching the film.
Well, long short story, I burst into tears when I saw that film. The main character, who is a blind boy, made me realize that I must continue to be grateful, and never stop being grateful for even a second.
The main character of the film is ignored by his widowed father. In fact, his father entrusted him to someone else because his father felt embarrassed and tired of having a blind child.
The main character has a high enthusiasm for life and cares about those around him, and is willing to learn new things even though he cannot see. This made me realize that I shouldn't have time to complain.
I brewed more coffee which was cold, but still delicious. I still remember the film I watched. A film with a simple story but somehow the acting of the main character, the little boy, makes me embarrassed if I feel unmotivated.
In this life, there are many things we can do. But damn, sometimes I just feel useless. Are you like that too?
Well, fighting against your own thoughts is the hardest. But to raise our motivation again, we just need to look at people who are weaker than us. Come on, we are too weak if we have to continue to be unmotivated in difficult situations.
If all the difficult obstacles even make us unmotivated, then what else can we do to become even better? Isn't the craziest encouragement to have difficulties in life and be considered useless by others?
Well, take a sip of your spirit drink, and when you're unmotivated, maybe you could read my blog. :) Or, you can just watch my new video on My YouTube channel about my Garden Tour!
