Take a break. Enjoy the yummy treats.
We often forget that jobs that rely on thoughts with ideas that must be constantly fresh actually drain more energy than jobs that only rely on muscles. Have you ever thought about that? It often happens around me, people around me think that I won't get tired with my current job because I only do online work.
In fact, the online work that I am currently doing, including building my YouTube account, is something that really drains energy. Jobs whose complexity cannot be seen by the eye actually make me easily tired.
As a freelancer, we must be smart in knowing our mental and physical condition. When should we stop, when should we take a break. When can we continue the work with the various ideas that we have prepared. Nothing is easy indeed. But if we are used to it and we have mastered it, then it will be easier for us to go through the days.
Like my condition in the past few months. I have been busy building my YouTube account to share more about how to garden organically. Indeed, I have not received any income from the YouTube account. But I want long-term benefits through the account. Not just about material things. However, I want to build more benefits for the people around me. Especially, about how to utilize the land in the yard to produce organic vegetables for home consumption.
This makes me feel exhausted. At first I often forced my body to continue doing the things I like, but in the end my body said otherwise. That made me have to really take a break from my gardening work and some time ago I had a staycation. Currently, I have not started gardening either.
Indeed, there are still some plants such as tomatoes and chilies that still need to be taken care of continuously. But I have given my trust to my husband to help me continue taking care of my plants. For example, watering the plants daily if it doesn't rain. Luckily, it has been raining for the past few days so that the activity of watering the garden can be skipped.
Well, this afternoon is quite bright after it rained this morning. Then, after lunch, I decided to go to my favorite cafe that I have visited often. This time, I wanted to try something new in this cafe because I often go to this place.
So, I have tried almost all the menus. Luckily, there are some menus that I have never tried, when I browse their menus on their social media accounts.
I enjoyed the air around the outdoor area of this cafe which looks refreshing. You can see a small canal at the end there with a nice view of the sky and clouds. I feel lucky to come this afternoon because the weather is good.
Currently, I choose the outdoor area because I want to feel closer to something green.
Something green is good for the eyes, not just the dollar hehehe. The big trees around me bring cool air when exposed to the wind.
Thai Tea
Have you ever drunk Thai tea Dream before? A few years ago, Thai tea went viral in my country because of its delicious, creamy taste. With the typical thick Thai tea that creates an orange color.
Typical Thai black tea mixed with milk, also mixed with several spices such as Star Anise, Cardamom and others. That makes the color of Thai tea orange.
Sweet, creamy and warming. Even though the weather is currently sunny, I always choose warm drinks. For me, warm drinks will open my mind wider to new ideas for my work.
Singapore Fried Fish Cakes
Singapore Fried Fish Cakes, as known as Otak-otak Singapura in Indonesian.
At first glance, if you look at it, it will look like sausages. Maybe because the manufacturing process is similar. These Singapore Fried Fish Cakes are made from fish puree with a mixture of flour and other ingredients. Then served fried. They also resemble fried meatballs.
This is my first time trying this snack. I didn't expect the texture to be very chewy but soft. The fish flavor is very strong which makes this snack taste even more delicious.
Whoa, my tongue feels happy! Just like my happy feelings!
What a yummy treat! I am happy with Break Time that runs like a time that refreshes my mind and body. Thank you for those of you who always support me.
Well, don't forget to watch the videos on my YouTube channel. I will upload my latest in a few days because I'm currently on break time. See you!
Best Regards,
