Have you ever heard of silky pudding? There was a time a few years ago, silky pudding became very popular in my area.
The price is more expensive than jelly pudding. That's because this silky pudding contains cream and milk in it.
There is one of my favorite brands for silky pudding. You can see on my picture below. This brand has many flavor variants. I once made bubble gum flavor.
Now, I want to make Korean Strawberry flavor. How to make this silky pudding is of course very easy. Because this is instant packaging, of course we only need to follow the instructions on the back of the packaging.
For this brand, we need to add 700 ml of water. But because I wanted to make this pudding moldable, it could set a little, so I reduced the water quantity to 600 ml.
Basically, this pudding is different from jelly from Agar Powder Ingredients. So, it is more common to serve it directly in a serving glass rather than molding it like jelly.
But I want to print this silky pudding. It sounds a bit nervous because I could fail because this product is not supposed to be printed with a pudding mold.
Hmm..., I just hope that reducing the amount of water can make this pudding shape the way I want.
Choosing Cute Molds
One fun thing about pudding, we can choose many shapes to serve the pudding. I chose cute shapes.
For this time, I used the shape of snowman. Aren't they so cute?
This snowman shape mold can also be used for ice cream molds. This print is really liked by my nieces and nephews. So, there is no reason not to use these shapes.
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
Prepare a container to stir the powder. Also, prepare a stirrer and water.
Mix the powder with water. Mix them well until there are no lumps in the mixture.
Then, transfer the mixture into the cooking pan. Turn on the heat. Cook the mixture until it boils. While keep stirring while cooking.
Well, I made a little mistake by leaving the mixture for a moment. You will see that there are a few black spots on my pudding because the mixture is starting to burn at the bottom. Also, maybe because I used too big a fire.
So, my advice, only use low to medium heat. And continue to stir the mixture.
You will see small bubbles and we can lift the mixture. When the fire is turned off, keep stirring the mixture for a while to remove the hot steam. Before being transferred to pudding molds.
Prepare the molds, then move the mixture slowly into the molds. Then cool them at room temperature until set.
Silky pudding just set after chill at room temperature
Here, my fridge was breaking down so I didn't put them in before they were served. For those of you who want to store the pudding before serving, that's better and more delicious.
THE RESULTS
Those silky puddings are very cute! I served them in the shape of snowmen, also with two small glasses. I put the rest in a small bowl.
It seems like what I said before, there are black spots there because the lumpy base of the pudding was a bit burnt in the mold. But overall, I love the results and they didn't disappoint ❤️
When I spooned out the silky pudding, oh sooo smooth! It melts in the mouth, soft like silk, as the name suggests.❤️❤️❤️
