Hello, staycation day! When writing this post, I just realized that I haven't had a staycation for almost two years. The last time I had a staycation was when I went on vacation to Batam City after I had a miscarriage last year. After that, I really focused on my garden.
The past few weeks, I've been really tired of gardening. That's because of the extreme weather. I love my garden very much. So, I can't just leave my garden unattended. I also don't want other people to do my fairly large garden work. It will damage some plants if other people take care of them in my opinion.
Coincidentally, this week my husband has a schedule to go to another city to do some work. So, my husband forced me to join the trip so that I can forget about my work in my garden.
Luckily, I have harvested most of my vegetables. Only my tomato plants and chili plants are left. But that doesn't matter, I really want to forget about my garden work. I really need some time to step aside for a moment.
Finally, I agreed to go with my husband to another city. Indeed, the distance is not that far from the city where I live. But at least, I have a new experience to see the busy but also beautiful city center.
My husband took me to a 4-star hotel in Medan. While my husband was taking care of the check-in process, I waited in the hotel lobby and shared some photos that I took with you.
This hotel is still classified as a 4-star hotel, but in my opinion the service is the same as a 5-star hotel. They also have a good hotel design. Suitable for a staycation.
The lobby and lounge look classy. The corners of the room are filled with aesthetic properties. Meanwhile, the tables and sofas are arranged in such a way as to create comfort for visitors.
A vase filled with fresh flowers is placed on the table to liven up the atmosphere. With natural light from the side windows.
While the middle of the lounge hallway is added with artificial decorative flowers which add an interesting impression.
Let me take you into the room that my husband booked. This room type is Premiere Queen. With a wide bed.
The room is designed in a minimalist style. Not too many accessories but creates a comfortable enough impression to rest.
Also equipped with a work desk and a corner sofa that faces directly to the outside window.
This is what I like about this room. Large windows with my favorite city view. When staying, I like to choose a room that offers a beautiful city view panorama like this!
In addition to the beautiful City View from my room, I can also see a beautiful view of the swimming pool.
The view from my room is really very good. I thank my husband for choosing this type of room for my staycation. While my husband is working, I choose to rest in this comfortable room.
For a while, I forgot about my garden for a moment. When I was in this room, I got information from my family that there was heavy rain and flooding in our area. Oh, I hope my garden is okay.
I will update my activities during the staycation. Especially about the food I enjoyed during my staycation. Then, in the following days I will post about the vegetables I have previously harvested. See you later.
Best Regards,
