Are you the type of person who likes to meet up with your friends in a crowd, then enjoy your favorite treats?
When it comes to 'me time' then I always choose not to be with friends. Maybe it's also about me who is used to being independent so I like to go out alone. But now it's just with my husband and my husband keeps a distance from me so that I have time with myself.
It's important to enjoy time with ourselves. Even though we have a partner, we still have to create boundaries for ourselves. That's because we have to keep ourselves being ourselves.
This time my husband took me to a famous pastry shop in my city. This pastry shop is called 'Mako' which is in the same building as 'JCO Donuts & Coffee'.
Since I left home, I had planned to eat Cheesecake. My attention was drawn to the cake display cases. There were lots of cakes, sweet ones of course.
I stick to my guns, Cheesecake. But this time it's not Classis Cheesecake but my choice fell on Blueberry Cheesecake. This type of cake is not too sweet, also has a fresh sour taste typical of blueberries. So, this is a good choice.
Actually, I have never made this type of cheesecake at home. Right now I don't have a refrigerator or freezer, and that will make it difficult for me to make cheesecake. Well, it's okay to buy a cake once in a while, even though it's pricey, but it doesn't mean we are wasteful. The economy will keep running, right? :)
After buying Blueberry Cheesecake, I also bought a typical Thai drink, Thai Tea. A mixture of tea and milk. This type of drink is orange in color.
Then, after that I went up to the upper floor of the building, and chose a semi-outdoor seat.
Oh, the weather today is very good! Sunny and showing charming clouds. The beautiful sky, it represents good hope even when we are down.
I looked far ahead. My mind seems to fly somewhere to collect many ideas, or even about the philosophy of life.
Also, another part of me is tasked with being grateful for today. I smile and breathe with patience. Grateful for life that is still beating.
Even though sometimes we are not as successful as others, but be grateful. From whatever side you can. Maybe the loving family you have, who can hug you warmly at any time. Or, be grateful that you have a warm little house, which can make you sleep soundly on a cold night. Or, the forest next to your residence that makes your mind calm with the singing of birds and others.
I enjoy a slice of blueberry cheesecake with a heart filled with peace and gratitude. Every now and then my problems appear from behind my mind there. But I try to stay calm. Every problem certainly has a solution.
Also, I enjoy my iced tea which is getting thinner because the temperature is quite hot.
If you are tired, stop for a moment in a place where you can see the beautiful sky, or flowing water. This life, is indeed like this. Giving us many surprises and teaching us how to survive from it.
