I want to tell you about something that often happens in the area where I live. A story about how people often underestimate the businesses or efforts made by people around our place of residence.
When someone opens a culinary business, often the people around them do not support them. They don't even want to visit and buy something cheap. More often than not, people around them will say strange or bad things about the business. Maybe because the area around my place of residence is not yet very modern. The people in it find it difficult to provide support to others because they feel that they are also not economically sufficient.
I am very sad about what happened. We as a society or a good community group should be able to support each other. Not bring each other down when someone opens a new business.
That is why local culinary businesses in my area will find it difficult to survive. Local businesses that survive are very commendable for how they have good marketing strategies. Of course, delicious food and drinks are what make culinary businesses survive.
THE PLACE
There is a local business that has survived for quite a long time. Uniquely, there is an interesting story about a small cafe in the area where I live. Its name is "Huda Kopi". This cafe was built in the house of my junior high school teacher. This cafe is managed by the child of a junior high school teacher. My junior high school was right across the street from this cafe.
When visiting this cafe, I remembered my school days. I waited for public transportation to pass in front of this cafe in the past :)
"Huda Kopi". A cafe that focuses on coffee drinks and snacks. Until now it has survived and has many good and positive reviews on Google Maps. This small place is not a fancy cafe. This cafe that offers simplicity actually attracts many young people to stop by this place.
From the front, this cafe does look like an ordinary house. Because this cafe was built in front of a house that had not been renovated at all. We can see the design inside like a green yard. Nothing has changed from this house since the time I was in junior high school.
The shady trees make this coffee shop shady and suitable to stop by during the day. I chose to sit in the back area of this cafe. I felt like I was sitting in my grandmother's yard, because my teacher's house was made of wood and had not been renovated at all.
COFFEE
I felt very happy when I visited this cafe. A cafe that made me smile because of their delicious coffee. And, of course, the price is cheap, only around 1 dollar.
I ordered a combination of espresso with sweetened condensed milk. A cup of enthusiasm that made my eyes not feel sleepy anymore in the middle of the day.
A cup of delicious coffee, with good quality coffee that made me smile. Also, never forget the delicious aroma!
Heavenly Snacks
A delicious coffee is certainly complemented by delicious snacks. I am very grateful for this local cafe, which makes me very happy. These snacks are not more than a dollar but evoke a sense of comfort and nostalgia.
Fried cassava. A type of snack that we often find in rural areas. A kind of old-fashioned snacks. I am very happy to find fried cassava in this cafe.
Nowadays, it is difficult to find good quality cassava in the market, which will have a soft texture when fried. Most cassava sold in the market today will have a hard texture when fried.
The Fried Cassava served in this cafe has a soft texture on the inside, and crispy on the outside! Whoa, heavenly snacks!
With hot sauce, the combination of savory and spicy becomes even more delicious.
This taste journey really taught me about a blessed business. A culinary business that can make customers happy even with old-fashioned dishes! Stand out! 👏👏👏
