Prior to getting my admission in to the university of Benin (UNIBEN) in 2015, my twin sister and I had always fantasized about how our university life was going to be, we pretty much had it all planned out, from the way we were going to dress, the way we were going to comport ourselves as my dad always used to say " Dress the way you want to be addressed" the kind of friends we were going to make, I mean down to the amount of acquaintances we were going to meet 😂, then a specified time to finally be in a relationship, in between let's not forget the beloved CGPA 😂 (4.00) thinking about it now still makes me laugh

SETTLING INTO SCHOOL LIFE
I'm going to try to be as brief as possible, My twin sister and I got admissions into the university of Benin in the year 2015, I think September to be precise, we were so excited, I was going to be studying history and international studies and my twin sis, international studies and diplomacy. We both took our time to arrange our things and successfully moved into the hostel at the approved date, did I forget to mention the tearful moment my mum hugged her two lovely girls goodbye? Thinking about it now still makes me laugh too cause we were practically 40mins away from the house and one bus ride will take us straight to the house 😂 but my mum wasn't thinking about that, that's for sure.
As all she could think of was the fact that we would no longer be home to keep her company any more, okay that's enough tearful moment 😁. Back to my story we settled down into the hostel that night and later found out we were in the same series as our childhood friend and we were ecstatic, I mean finally a familiar face ☺️ immediately we settled into our respective rooms, with my twin sister and I staying in the same room it was easier to get things done quickly, when we were done arranging, we went straight to our friends room and later went out together to get food, we got the food came back to hostel to prepare to take our bath and when we came out 😂 we got the first biggest shock of of our lives (amongst other shocks to come 😂) there were naked girls everywhere taking their bath and no one was using the bathroom.

It was almost like the bathroom didn't exist 😂 it was also my first time seeing so much naked girls in one place 😂 notwithstanding the fact that I'm a girl too, I was still too ashamed to look at any of them in the face, there was another problem I wasn't used to bathing with so many people around, girls or not, and it was going to be a problem, I later found out the reason this girls refused to use the bathroom was because of the long queue that led to the bathroom, my twin sister, my childhood friend and I didn't mind waiting 😂 as we didn't want anyone seeing us naked 😂😂😂 eventually it got to our turn and we took our baths, using our various towels as shield to block the opposite person from seeing us naked, we took our bath and life as a university of benin student began..........
LECTURES AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN
Going to classes in 100 level, 1st semester wasn't a new thing for me, I took my classes seriously as I still felt like I owed it to myself to always attend classes, although it was stressful having to wake up so early in the morning to take my bath, apply my makeup and get dressed and go to class, I didn't mind cause all I had on my mind was my CGPA 😂 I really wanted to have that first class, that time my mantra was " first class or nothing" 😂if only I knew attending classes wasn't all that was needed to have a perfect CGPA, anyways 1st semester rolled by with me being the curious one, I took time out to explore my surroundings, from the main entrance of the school to the back entrance of the school, to the VC's lodge (the vice chancellor of my school stays within the confines of the school) to the various departments, to the famous July 12 ( a place where we go to get foodstuffs and other miscellaneous) at this time reading at night wasn't even a thing I considered doing 😂 all I did was read the notes I jotted down during classes without any extra textbook or handouts, I mean nobody told me anything so can you blame me?😂 [Source] (https://images.app.goo.gl/J1ySaMdfZ5rwaaGt8)

I know, I know, I know I didn't ask but them again as I said earlier making friends at the beginning was hard because my twin sister and I had a plan 😂 and moreover we were both in different departments so I didn't even feel like talking to anyone, anywho 1st semester exams came knocking on my door and I answered 😂 by writing all what I had learnt from the classes I attended with my jottings from the previous classes I felt I had aced it, if only I knew
** RESULTS**
I went home that semester feeling so elated as I felt I had aced the exam with no extra help from anyone, where everyone (course mates) were complaining about how difficult the questions were and how they had to write 5pages 😂 I was wondering what they read that would make them want to write five pages 😂😂😂😂 I mean your home girl was only able to write a page and half and I was thinking I wrote too much 😂 anyways I wasn't worried as I felt those ones were only doing too much, results came out the following semester, the second or third week after resumption and my results spoke volumes 😂😂😂😂😂 when I say volumes I mean VOLUMES 😂
Part2 coming right up, who else is ready for part 2
