Today I will share my new drawing of LORD Hanuman, God of Strength and courage in Hindu mythology. He is the personification of dedication and devotion.
we were going to celebrate our annual Tech and cultural fest JINKS Pranav 23, a 3-day event and the whole college was decorated for the fest. I made this for the art gallery.
As you can see, it's incomplete; I completed it here.

After this, I gave it to a junior to complete it because I had another job they wanted me to do.
SIZE 60cm*50cm
reference image https://pin.it/4NwVcx3
Material used charcoal pencil, graphite pencil
so I made 6cm*6cm of grids, the largest by far.
1st step, rough outline.
Shading part, I was making it in my room only and since the table wasn't big enough I had to shade this on my bed. I had to put something hard beneath it to shade it properly so that was hard. Also, I started with graphite pencil but it wasn't dark enough on this chart paper so I had to use charcoal pencils. rest steps.
Shading in a larger area is harder as you can easily see the imperfections like I was not able to provide realistic muscle in arm. The same sketch would have a better-looking arm in an A4 sheet.
By this time I ran out of time as I had to look into decorations and other stuff so I gave this to a senior to get this completed by a junior but looks like even the junior also didn't have much time with her either. I might complete it now.
Thanks for reading, Next post will be about the other work I was involved in which was much better 😙.
