Language lover in Hive

Aprendí a estar sola y a conocerme a mí misma.

Hello people of Hive! I am Anna and I come from a coastal city near Barcelona called Vilanova i la Geltrú. I have been living in Germany and working in Luxembourg for almost four years. But my passion for traveling came from before. Since I was a child, I already showed interest in learning about other cultures, learning languages and trying exotic dishes. That magic of being in a place where you have never been before. That fascination comes from my uncles, who travel all over the world, to remote places where there are usually no tourists. I was always moved to see their photographs and hear their adventures around the world. Also, since I was very young, my father used to tell me words in other languages and I used to memorize and repeat them.

I started with a month in England, then another month, and then I couldn't spend a year without going abroad. After England came Germany, as a result of starting to learn German. I went to Bremen as an Aupair in a Japanese family because I was also learning Japanese in my translation's degree. During my last year of the degree I lived in Berlin. An Erasmus that marked me for life and defined my next steps. I learned to be alone and to know myself. To lose fears and enjoy the moment. I knew then that this is what I wanted, forever.

I am a sun and sea lover. There is a song in Catalan by Lax’n’Busto called “La meva terra és el mar” that defines me perfectly, it is worth listening to. I like Yoga, festivals, Karaoke, food, fashion, flowers, dancing and skating. I am creative and skillful in writing. Good communicator and a compulsive reader. Hardworking, sociable, committed and, above all, curious, always in constant learning, training, looking for new challenges. And the truth is that I can't stop learning. And I love doing it through the stories and wisdom of others, anywhere in the world.

That's why I write, to continue learning and to capture what I learn. To preserve the stories I hear. To delve into myself and discover the world wherever I am. To relax, reflect, seek my own calm and know that everything will be fine. And that is precisely what I will do in Hive 🤗 Can't wait to keep writing!

Hello @annacanton! This is @traciyork from the @ocd (Original Content Decentralized) curation team. We noticed you shared your first post here on Hive and introduced yourself to the community - congratulations and welcome! You didn't mention how you happened to find our blockchain home - did an established Hive member tell you about it? If so, be sure to tag them so they know you're part of the Hive community now.

Speaking of community, we have many different ones here on the blockchain, devoted to all kinds of interests. Here's a link so you can check them all out - Hive Communities

Also, as Hive can sometimes be quite confusing, the newly launched Newbies Guide should be helpful to you, as it is a growing repository of useful and easy to understand posts about how the Hive ecosystem works. For instance, there's a post in the collection called 3 things Newbies should do in their first week on Hive that you might find helpful.

Please be aware that Hive is a bit different from other social media platforms since you are monetizing your blog, so it is important not to include content that you don't own without sources (and it shouldn't exceed 50% of the post). For more information, check this post - Why and How People Abuse and Plagiarise by hivewatchers.

If you have questions, feel free to hop into the OCD Discord server and we'll do our best to answer them, and again welcome to Hive!

Aquí hay siete sugerencias a considerar:
