What's in August?
It was quick! August is finally here - this means another HIVE power-up day. I am really guilty about power-up day because I skipped it last month because I do not have an extra HIVE nor HBD to buy HIVE and then power up.
It was because I am out of my budget and did not commit to writing more in the Hive community. But now, I decided to start using Hive more often and read others' blogs consistently. The reason behind this is I am also looking for quality content that I can add to my curation list to my newsletter and get featured in it for FREE.
Today, I decided to power up a total of 25.843 HIVE that I earned from writing blogs. Some of them are HBD but I decided to trade them into HIVE considering that the price also dropped as of writing.

I had a total of 1,334.590 HP and then powered up 25.843 HIVE which gives me a current HP of 1,360.433 HP in my wallet. It is a huge contribution for me to the Hive community because the amount of money that I used was huge enough in my place. I see HIVE as a long-term investment so I still invest in the community continuously.
Hive Goals
I only have a few goals in Hive and it is to earn at least 50 HIVE before this month ends. Considering that I write inconsistently and earn a decent amount of upvotes, I will not expect too much from my earnings to prevent stress and expectations.
I also want to share and write consistently on the platform because I am now enjoying writing and sharing my knowledge and ideas in the community. Recently, I have been publishing a series about SEO and fortunately, some people are loving it and still waiting for it.

- Part 4 is still in work in progress. I should be writing it today but I remembered that today is HPUD.
I want to engage in the community and start growing my account. However, considering that we will be going back to school this August 7, I might be busier again but I will do my best to write and share my content.
You know, I am just hiding my laptop from the landlady because she is asking Php 200.00 if you are bringing a laptop to our boarding house and I think it is expensive knowing that we rarely use the laptop. I feel more productive writing on the laptop because it has fewer distractions than using a mobile phone.
And there it goes! I am hoping for a better month of August. Hopefully, this month will be full of good and huge surprises. Cheers!
