It was a busy semester as a civil engineering student. Hence, I and my classmates decided to take a break by having a Christmas celebration at Real Cove Resort located at Teresa Rizal.
Every end of the semester/year, my (current and previous) classmates are always planning to have a bonding together, we always go swimming, and of course, drink alcohol is always there.
Disclaimer: This happened last December 17, 2023, and this is just the time that I thought of sharing it with everyone so I hope you guys will enjoy reading this.

Our preparation for the swimming
Last year, there was only one group (circle of friends) who managed everything, we just shared money with them then they were the ones who bought and cooked the food. But this time, we decided to split the chores by assigning the food that every group (circle) would bring.
In our circle (we are 5 this time), we brought fried chicken, one of our circles is the one who managed it and she is the only one who cooked and bought everything. She also made a garlic mayo sauce which everyone loves.
Some circle brought the utensils, another viand which is bopis, the rice, grilled bangus, soft drinks, etc. Since there was some more money to spend, we decided to buy alcohol inside the resort. Bringing your alcohol is not allowed because you will need to pay more if you are caught.
They bought 3 (or 4) gins, juice to mix in, and 1.5 Liters of soft drinks. We also bought some chips to eat while drinking.
Having fun
We started eating the foods and it was a 10/10 rating for the foods. After eating, we immediately started drinking one bottle of gin. We did not have the juice yet so we drank it puro and the taste wasn't really good, but thanks to soft drinks, it lessened the bad taste of the alcohol.
After finishing one bottle, we decided to start swimming, we played habul-habolan in the pool, had a conversation, opened up, etc. There's also a slide on the pool and it was a fun experience even the slide doesn't work depending on what you are wearing.
Then we went back and started drinking again, it was fun, they were dancing because they were a bit drunk, singing, and (crying?). The cycle repeated from drinking, swimming, drinking, etc. Until some of them are drunk. I wasn't drunk. I did not drink that much because I wouldn't say I liked the flavor of the juice.
We went home having another fun experience and core memory with my friends and classmates. Being a college student should be balanced between studying and having fun. It also creates connections and relationships with people.
