Largely, people are controlled by the memes put into them as children.
'The policeman is your friend.'
'Cops never lie.'
'The gov't is here to help you.'
We all get this drilled into our heads to the point that most of us never question them.
Many of us are not even capable of accepting that this premise might be in error.
How many people have you known that just dismiss things out of hand that later prove to be true?
How many of your friends pooh pooh'd the hunter laptop as russian disinformation?
Have they admitted the error of their ways even now, years after it was admitted by the fib'bers that the fbi lied?
This is an issue with the masses today.
Maybe you should mention it to folks that will listen?
Examine your automatic responses.
Are they empirically true?
Have you done your own research?
Are eggs bad for us?
Is canola oil the healthy option?
Is the flouride in the water at a safe level?
Is living in an invisible rainbow having no effect on our lives?
What you don't know, dear reader, can kill you.
This is extremely dangerous to our democracy.
