There's nothing comparable to joyful moments with my Hiver friends having a blast like it was a mini coffee party. This is my first time to have a coffee chit chat with my co-Hiver friends @luthis26, @nelliemae87, and @godslove123, and with @godlovermel25.
Last January 24, we decided to do a Hive mini meetup at Blackscoop Cafe, located at Corrales, Cagayan de Oro City. I chose this coffee shop because I have been here before, and they provide good service with a Wi-Fi internet connection that we can use while we are sharing our knowledge and topics about Hive.
I arrive at the cafe; they were already there. I came late because I needed to pick up our Hive T-shirts. You know the feeling that we are just chatting online, and finally we meet each other; it was such happiness. We order caramel macchiato coffee for the 3 of us while the others order milk tea.
I cannot explain the happiness that I felt that since last night I am so excited to meet them all. It has a big difference between virtual chatting and in-person conversation that seems we have known each other for years even though we met each other online last December. Lol, it seems that we only occupy the whole coffee shop with the laughter and the conversations about our Hive journey that other customers of the cafe for sure are confused about what we are talking about.
Especially when we are discussing Hive, HBD tokens, and other cryptocurrency blockchain topics, they might think that we are discussing scams. Before, I used to be alone in my city; who knows about Hive and cryptocurrency? It seems like I have my own world that no one can relate to me because they are not open-minded when it comes to web3.
That's why I feel so delighted that I have some friends now whom I can meet in person whenever we have time to do some Hive chit chat. We not only enjoy the coffee and the muffins but also our no-boundaries-of-happiness conversation. Especially we took pictures around the cafe.
It's obvious in my pictures shown that Blackscoop Cafe has an Instagrammable concept that makes the reason why too many coffee lovers like to visit and stay in this place. What I don't like about this cafe now is that the internet cafe is getting slow because of too many users already, unlike before when it was not yet known.
What more could I ask for? A pleasant coffee, with a blast of Hive friends conversation, plus this aesthetic coffee shop. I can say is it's a wow, it's so nice to live a life like this.
This is my most memorable coffee moment that I can treasure and I hope it wil happend again since my other Hiver friends came from the other part of Misamis Oriental and they just travel to get here to meet and have some coffee chit chat. Thank you to my Hiver friends that I mentioned above and it was really a total satisfaction of meeting you all in person.
