Here are three top picks for each splinter to help you win quests, hand picked by the Archmage team. Each set of picks has some brief reasoning. Details about Quest Aggression follow.
Red:
Lava Spider
Tenyii Striker
Grum is incredibly powerful and versatile. He just increases win rate in red, especially in mono-red battles. The other two cards are picked for their Snipe and Sneak abilities - they can make red teams great under those quests too.
Blue:
Pelacor Bandit
Sniping Narwhal
Deeplurker is the breadwinner here as it goes well with all blue summoners, even Alric. Blue teams can also be used to complete Sneak and Snipe quests with the strength of the Bandit or Narwhal, especially as you level them up.
Green:
Child of the Forest
Goblin Thief
Hunter Jarx is a great card to form your line-up around. Cheaper options to level up are the Child of the Forest or Goblin Thief, perhaps, which are both strong candidates for Sneak and Snipe quests.
White:
Stitch Leech
Lone Boatman
Warrior of Peace is a favourite, especially in combination with Disintegrator, which did not make this list but which gets an honourable mention here. Stitch Leech and Lone Boatman for both White quest itself, for No Neutrals, and for Sneak or Snipe.
Black:
Undead Badger
Death Elemental
Although the Silent Sha-vi is very good in general, Death Elemental often wins games with a well-placed magic snipe. Undead Badger is great value for two mana. Death loves Sneak and Snipe anyway.
Gold:
Naga Brute
Gloridax Soldier
Kretch is strangely good at low levels due to the extra card levels you get from his Epic rarity. Check his Stats page to see. Brute is often underrated, especially after getting Thorns. Gloridax Soldier is perhaps cheaper than it should be right now.
Neutral:
Mantoid
Uraeus
These cards are good for Sneak and Snipe quest, and they are good to buff out your colour quest teams. They can't be used in a quest with no neutrals of course. Everyone forgets this, however, and plays them once or twice by accident to their own frustration.
Quest Aggression:
On the topic of quests, a new feature has been added to the Archmage Splinterlands bot: Quest Aggression. The bot can now be configured to aggressively pursue quests instead of general win rate. The results have been pleasing for getting your quest done fast.
