WOO knowledge - Why one set of wrestlers is not enough

in #hive-191258last year

WOO is slowly getting to it's release, and even though we are off by a few months in the "Mav" channel (where you can get with a Discord Channel Subscription) we see the project moving forward and it seems some of the main challenges were finally fixed.

This is a good time to talk about the info dropped in the AMA-Questions channel about: Injuries

So what is very interesting in this game is that it tries to mimic the real life of the wrestlers as good as possible. You have to travel from city to city to start a show. Venue provide different amount of audience, depending on the size of the city and the size of the venue and injuries...

So in the game there is always a not so slim chance that your wrestler will get injured during the fight, and you won't be able to play the card for at least 7[corrected from 3 to 7. 3 days is a recovery for a wrestler who fights to many fights a day - 10+] days (depends on the type of the injury, could be even more). This pretty much means, that if you have a favorite combination of cards then you will need at least 2 sets of them, to be able to play even if your have injuries in your team.

Now getting back to scarcity. Top tier players might want to have a max level set of their cards, and in a previous post I already mentioned, that for some cards only 60 of them can exist on max level, making it the top spots in the game that much harder to get.

You can find more info on this in the WOO discord.

Good luck!

I really like the concept of injuries as it adds an extra dimension to the game in terms of strategy.
Do I go for a max leveled deck or prefer to keep several lower level decks?
Great reasoning and great to hear some last hurdles were taken :D
