It was @greywarden100 who introduced sportstalksocial.com and the $SPORTS token to me. That was 27 days ago.
After browsing the site and seeing some familiar names here like @jimmy.adames, @hivebuzz, @uyobong.sports, @jongolson, and others, I got encouraged to join the tribe. Moreover, as I observe, though the front end is not popular with many Hivians, the members of this tribe have a high reputation on the Hive blockchain. I also observe that the voting system is somehow fair. There is no overvoting; shit posts are not allowed, and; the articles are considerably long. These tell me that the primary thing in the mind of the members here is not to farm the $SPORTS tokens.
And so when I read @fit.zone invitation to join the 50M Sports Power Club, I accepted it. Since then I started accumulating the $SPORTS token.
Last 17 July, I bought 1.5M $SPORTS and delegated them to this account. Though my wife can only upload his mountain climbing activity from time to time, I decided to devote this account to curating content here on Sports Talk Social. As my wife gains familiarity with how the Hive front ends work, I expect that in weeks to come, she will also be motivated to create content about her other favorite activities such as painting and cooking, and will publish them on relevant tribes.
Furthermore, I started swapping other Hive Engine tokens in my wallet such as $CTP, $LOLZ, $ALIVE, $VOUCHER, $WAIV, and others to get the SWAP.HIVE I need to buy $SPORTS. Just earlier, I sold several HE tokens and bought 280,000 $SPORTS and sent them to this account. Finally, after less than a month, I was able to reach 5M plus $SPORTS Power. 74,652 $SPORTS is the total token received by my wife for content creation and curation and I delegated a total of 5.17M $SPORTS into her account, 44.83M more to go to reach the minimum requirement to qualify for that 50M Sports Power Club. I wonder how long will it take for me to reach that 50M mark.
I think that's all I can say about my 27 days of journey here with Sports Talk Social.
Thanks for reading and I wish more $SPORTS power to all sports lovers on Hive!
