Simbang Gabi
December 15. Today marks the first night of the Simbang Gabi, which is the first of the 9 nights of Novena Masses leading to Christmas Eve. The chapel is brightly lit which gives such a lively vibe to the church-goers and passersby.
The youth and the church coordinators spent a lot of effort in installing these lights, and it is worth it.
It's going to be my first Christmas here in the Philippines after 19 years. I am so happy. And this is going to be my 2 younger kids' first.
Adding to the enchanting vibe is the bright moonlight. Couldn't help but take a snap. And look, what I got in the photo! We did not expect to find a cat on the roof!
My father said, finally, after 20 years, our house is adorned by Christmas ornaments. My mother already threw away the old Christmas tree and other ornaments, so my sister bought a new one. The kids enjoyed helping out in decorating the tree.
Time flies and in 10 days, it's going to be Christmas. So excited.
We also already bought majority of the stuff we would need for our Christmas menu.
I thank God for this opportunity to spend Christmas here at home with my familu after sooo many years. My heart is full and I am really grateful. 😍
