Hi, Sketchbook Community! Here I am again for another sketch without a pencil.
Last Christmas in December 2023, I was at my parents-in-law's house in Paris. Outside of the window, my MIL has a poinsettia plant.
I started to sketch the four small petals using a red color pen. It was easy for me to draw since Poinsettia looks like a bountiful of leaves with red and green color. I mean, that's how I see it. Hehe!
The next layer is another set of big petals surrounding the four small petals. I used another color pen which is pink to create a detail on the petals.
The last layer is a group of green leaves, underneath the big red petals of poinsettia. I used the yellow-green color pen to create a detail on the leaves.
Well, that was a very quick sketch. I am hoping I can create Christmas doodles for December 2024.
